This website is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. Depending on how you use the site, the following may apply:
• Contact requests: If you email me directly (via the address shown on the Contact page), I receive whatever information you choose to include in that email.
• AI chat assistant: Messages you send to the on-site AI assistant are transmitted to OpenAI's API to generate a response. Your IP address is used only to apply a temporary rate limit and is not stored permanently.
• Usage data: Standard server and hosting logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) may be collected automatically by the hosting provider (Vercel) for security and reliability purposes.
• Cookies: See the "Cookies and Similar Technologies" section below.
How We Use Information
Information collected through this website is used to: respond to inquiries sent via email; generate relevant responses through the AI chat assistant; maintain the security, performance, and reliability of the website; and, where enabled, deliver and measure advertising as described below. Information is never sold.
The AI Chat Assistant
The chat widget on this site uses OpenAI's API to answer questions about my background, skills, and projects. Conversations are sent to OpenAI for processing and are subject to OpenAI's own privacy practices. Do not share sensitive personal information (such as financial details, passwords, or health information) in the chat — it is intended for general questions about my work, not for handling confidential data.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
This website uses a small amount of local browser storage to remember your cookie-consent choice. If advertising (see below) is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads, including for personalized advertising where permitted. Data Retention
Emails sent to me are retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and document the inquiry. Chat conversations are processed by OpenAI to generate a reply and are not stored in this website's own database. Rate-limiting data used to prevent abuse of the chat assistant is temporary and clears automatically.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information you have provided to me, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact me using the details below.
Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact me so it can be removed.
